Ian Hayes is a video and sculpture artist based in Cincinnati, Ohio, who primarily creates art from older analogue technology such as tube televisions, VCRs and cassette tapes. As a graduate from the Art Academy of Cincinnati, he is always experimenting with this older technology and discovering unique ways to utilize it in unconventional ways.

"In my work, I try to find ways to connect the technology we use to the humanity that’s within us. As a microphone is to an ear, or a camera is to vision, could a television be to our mind or electricity to life? Does the technology we use make us less human? In what ways can the technology in our lives connect us and divide us?"
